There is an immediate opening for a Director of Control Valve Sales.

Dowco Valve Company, Inc. is a 3rdgeneration family-owned company specializing in the service and sales of Pressure relief valves, Control valves, and other valve products; with three locations servicing the Midwest and looking to expand our sales team.

The Director of Control Valve Sales is responsible for leading the sales team. They identify key areas for growth, develop, perform, and execute strategic plans, and provide guidance to Regional Sales Managers.

• Lead the development and execution of strategic sales strategies through identification of clients, new business and expansion plans, implementation services, marketing and visibility, and distribution partners.
• Work closely with Sales Leadership to help develop, implement, execute, and align sales strategies and objectives.
• Build and execute on strategies and initiatives that drive positive sales results and ensure success in achieving company’s business objectives.
• Establish, maintain, and expand relationships with key personnel of strategically important and large customers.
• Develop strong sales plans to support the expansion of sales of catalog and custom products to entertainment, music and licensing companies and their decorators.
• Direct team of Sales Managers to meet or exceed goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Key Account leadership to drive business building opportunities.
• Assist in determining price schedules and discount rates.
• Follow-up on quotes and document status.
• Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on products and customer specifications.
• Assist in preparing budgets for respective sales territory.
• Represent Company at trade association meetings to promote products and services.
• Complete monthly reports.
• Annually set sales goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
